 Lately, the world has been experiencing events that are truly disastrous. One of such places is Nigeria. It's obvious that Nigeria has fallen into the hands of terrorist since 2011 and despite the military crumbling them down, many factions have sprung up.

- You can buy 'tasers' or 'jack knifes'. Tasers have the capacity to dispense electric shocks to the victim and having one especially when you do walk alone at night is very important. Jack knifes too are of great use as they can be used to counter attacks. All these can be gotten at shops that sell security hardwares or can be ordered from on-line vendors.

- Have password/security codes for your devices.

- Try and be interactive with security officials in your locality.
