Iphone (Apple's false Gold)

Year in year out, it causes frenzy and makes the headline in major media stations. Of course, it's Apple's Iphone. iPhone has been in existence since 2006 ever since the launch of the first iPhone (iPhone 1). It stands tall as having a different Operating system from other

mobile phones. Well, iPhones used to be second to none, but lately, it's not the best phone anymore.

Iphone's reputation has made it super expensive in the past and it still does till this day. Like gold, millions do rush to purchase a new model. In Nigeria, the frenzy is something else, because starting from teens to old adults, there is an extreme obsession and view of iPhone like it's gold.

A lot of people do claim they always go for iPhones because of it's capacity, but yet, there are other mobile phone brands that have made contenders or phones with so much capacity like iPhone. From Samsung, Huawei and Oppo, these phone companies have created mobile phones that are currently above the capacity of Iphone 15 pro max (the latest iphone).

Majority don't demand or even attempt buying other brands but would rather go for an iPhone. This is because, Apple has psychologically captured the minds of phone users and has ingrained customer loyalty in them. Apple has presented iPhone like a bar of gold and when iPhone 15 was launched, it was like Leonardo Da Vinci created another aesthetic masterpiece.

People see iphone like a precious stone, when in reality, it's a false gold that people purchase.

iPhone 15 pro max currently cost about 2.7 million naira while there is Huawei mate x that goes for 1.5 million naira with the same capacity, which is a gap of about one hundred and fifty thousand naira. There are  other phone companies like Samsung, honour and Oppo that make devices that are contending with iphone and sell at a reasonable price.

In conclusion, it'll be good if people wake up and go after what performs and not the glittering features.
